The City of Portland is recruiting for a Parks Maintenance Supervisor II.The Parks Maintenance Supervisor II position oversees the complex maintenance functions for the many prominent parks located in the West Service Zone's Downtown/NW area.This position is responsible for directing the work of many highly skilled and semi-skilled personnel providing maintenance to high profile city parks and their related facilities and equipment including: athletic playing fields; hard-scaped parks; hydro parks; playgrounds and more.The position also requires close contact and communication with the public; city political leaders; community groups; city contractors; tenants; non-profit organizations and neighboring businesses. |
