The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) Property & Evidence Unit has an immediate opening for a Property & Evidence Specialist. The Property & Evidence Specialist is responsible for the receiving, preservation, release, and in some cases the destruction of all items in their care. The Property & Evidence Specialists are trained in storage techniques and processing to ensure that the integrity of evidence is maintained. Detailed electronic records of transactions involving items of evidence are maintained in order to preserve the “chain of custody”.

Minimum Requirements Include:
At least 1 year experience communicating with a variety of individuals to explain policies, regulations and processes.
At least 1 year experience interpreting policies and procedures for the public.
At least 1 year experience assisting upset/angry customers.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, a comprehensive background check and post offer physical examination.
Driving is required for County business on a regular basis or to accomplish work. Incumbents must possess a valid driver's license, and possess and maintain an acceptable driving record throughout the course of employment.

Pay: $23.10 – $26.81 Hourly + Excellent Benefits (POA Pay Group)
