Assistant V


This is a temporary position with an expected end date of 1/25/2019.

Work as part of a team to support all levels of Service and Design personnel to initiate and ensure accurate, timely and high quality information for distribution external customers. Provides support and back up for SDC in area of Job Processing; Line department as-built jobs and Street lighting services repair jobs Provides administrative and assistant support to various functional areas within regional Line office such as, but not limited to: accounts payable, timekeeping, suspense and facilities management. Participates in regional outage support as well as support to Emergency Manager(s) whenever needed.


Minimum High School or GED required.
Five plus years experience, preferably in a utility or related industrial position.
Working knowledge of Distribution/Line department policies, procedures.
Working knowledge (or intrinsic ability to be trained upon) PGE’s systems including but not limited to: WMS, GRID, Fieldview, NJUNS, Crystal reports, DMS, TIVO, OMS2, TCS, MasterPiece, Banner, Groupwise, Word, Excel.
Excellent human relations and communications skills; both oral and written.
Very strong customer service skills.
Ability to self-start and self-manage. Excellent problem solving, research, analytical, organizational, prioritization skills.
