LifeWorks NW's Children's Relief Nursery provides child abuse and neglect prevention services that keep children safe and families strong. Services include outpatient mental health, therapeutic classrooms, respite childcare, home visits, parent skills training, and trauma assessments.

PURPOSE: The primary responsibility of this position is to work with children ages 0 to 3 years of age providing home visiting and case management services.

DAYS/HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

PAY/BENEFITS: $15.47 to $16.63 per hour. Additional amount if fluent in Spanish. Full Benefits.


Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Education, Health, Social Services or related field and/or 3 years of experience with teaching or home visiting with young children and their families.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency skills preferred, but not required.
Minimum two years early childhood experience/education and experience with home visiting required.
Minimum one year case management experience required.
Must be able to drive clients in a LifeWorks NW vehicle. Must have a valid driver's license and ability to meet LifeWorks NW driving requirements.
Enrolled in the State of Oregon's Office of Child Care Criminal History Registry strongly preferred. If not enrolled, must be able to meet the qualifications to be enrolled.
Must be able to meet physical demands: requires lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking may be required. Stooping, kneeling, bending, balancing, reaching, and use of the hands may occur throughout the workday. Lift and carry children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
