Our Operations Support Specialist-Mail Processor provides support services related primarily to posting and processing deposit and branch related mail received through the United States Postal Service (USPS).

Responsibilities of this role include:
•Acting as the primary processor for all branch related payments and deposits received through USPS; posting by end-of-business each day.
•Assisting with processing checks received by other back office departments, including loan payoffs.
•Determining daily transaction thresholds and distributing overflow as needed.
•Providing data entry in multiple software applications for back office fulfillment of service requests received from member-facing staff.
•Report reconciliation/processing.

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•1+ year(s) experience in a financial institution preferred; Teller experience highly desired.
•Must possess a strong attention to detail along with the ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze a wide variety of data.
•Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
•Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work in a deadline-drive environment.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Must possess strong basic math skills with a basic understanding of accounting.
•Ability to maintain high-levels of confidentiality.
•Create clear, professional correspondence and communication to ensure delivery of excellent internal and external member service.
•Meet annual product knowledge certification, regulation and other training requirements. Maintain a thorough knowledge of Advantis’ operational policies and procedures.
•Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (work schedule may vary to provide sufficient service levels).
