The Marketing and Communications Manager is a 12 month appointment at 0.75 FTE (30 hours per week) and is responsible for outreach, marketing, development and communication efforts for the School of Social Work. Reporting to the Dean, this position works closely with the School’s administrative leadership team, the PSU Foundation, faculty and staff as well as others in the broader PSU community. The manager maintains an annual marketing plan and consults with academic and research units on their implementation of recruitment and enrollment initiatives and alumni engagement through marketing, communication channels and strategic events. The manager works closely with the PSU Foundation to manage school-based fundraising programs, including gift acknowledgement, stewardship and development programs that support the annual fund and endowed gifts. The manager supervises one or more student employees. Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to): Event coordination, alumni relations, marketing and communications.
