The NW Promise Education Coordinator will support the implementation of the NW Promise program and post-secondary pathways services.  The mission of NW Promise is to work to see every student in the northwest region exit high school with a plan for their future, a sense of passion for what career they want to pursue, and the skills to achieve those dreams. NW Promise focuses on expanding college credit courses in high schools through partnerships with faculty from higher education institutions and high school teachers. NW Promise specifically aims to serve historically underserved students.  This position will develop program systems and organize the day-to-day program operations with attention to detail and strong follow through, provide customer service to existing and potential participants and partners, and support overall quality programming.

Fulltime/Benefits Eligible/starting pay is $45,248 -  $67,397 DOE for 200 days of work per year

QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:
- Current TSPC teaching or counseling license. Experience at the secondary level and with dual credit programs is preferred
- Background and Fingerprint Based Criminal History Verification clearance
- Ability to speak language(s) in addition to English is a plus
- Demonstrate a high level of communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and harmoniously with school personnel, college personnel, high school students, parents and community members from diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Ability to deliver effective small and large group trainings to students and education partners preferred
- Interest in developing facilitation skills to support Professional Learning Communities
- Highly organized, strong logistics and follow through required
- Ability to work independently on complex and varied tasks without direct supervision, and to work effectively under tight timelines
- Ability to travel and possess a valid Oregon State Driver’s License and automobile insurance
- Scheduling flexibility required in order to work weekend and/or evening hours occasionally as needed
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with data entry
