Accounts Payable/Receivables Manager (R17-656)
The successful candidate will effectively manage teams responsible for preparing, recording, verifying, analyzing and reporting accounts payable/receivable transactions as well as payroll; oversees the maintenance and reconciliation of accounts payable/receivable ledger accounts, financial statements and reports; provides oversight of purchasing card and travel programs; provides technical management of an accounting/finance team, ensuring that agreed objectives are met and all relevant standards/procedures are followed; ensures that operational problems are indentified and resolved; ensures that operational procedures and working practices are fit for the purpose and current.

Qualifications include:
Demonstrated ability to lead positive change, engage employees and achieve results.
Knowledge of Accounts payable/receivable principles, concepts and other accounting disciplines.
Knowledge of AP/AR processes and procedures.
Knowledge of Payroll processes, procedures, and rules.
Knowledge of related financial systems.
Knowledge of tax laws/regulations and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of relevant utility industry financial regulations (preferred).

The successful candidate will typically have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or other related field or equivalent experience and 8+ years of applicable experience.
