At least one full-time temporary positions are available. Temporary employees are limited to 1040 hours of work in a 12 month period.
Reporting Location: Borland Field Office - Wankers Corner - 2611 SW Borland Road, Tualatin, Oregon
Work week: Monday through Friday, with the possibility of weekends
Shift: 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Work times may change seasonally as needed (6 a.m. start) or a 4 day - 10 hour work week may be necessary as well for part of the year.
Coordinates, oversees and performs restoration enhancement projects, maintenance and the land management of Metro properties. Assesses site-specific needs, prioritizes work, develops and implements resource project management strategies to achieve natural resource management goals and objectives. Duties include the assessment of native plant communities and vegetation management issues along with assisting in sustainability practices; and leading volunteers, natural resource staff and other activities.

Demonstrated work experience relevant to position in natural resources or project management that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skill and ability to perform this position or an Associate's degree from an accredited college with specialized training in horticulture, biology, forestry, natural resources environmental science or a related field and three years of relevant natural resource and project management related experience.
