The Link2Feed Expansion Specialist plays a critical role in the network wide rollout and implementation of Link2Feed, a client intake and data collection software. The Link2Feed Expansion Specialist is responsible for recruitment, onboarding, training, troubleshooting, and relationship management with key stakeholders.
• Responsible for all aspects of Link2Feed expansion in defined areas, including recruiting, training, supporting and coaching participating agencies to implement L2F throughout the service area. Meet expansion objectives.
• Implement training programs to ensure that all partner agencies utilize L2F in a way that preserves client dignity and confidentiality, adheres to Oregon Food Bank, Feeding America, DHS and FNS contract rules and regulations, and provides compassionate service to people seeking food assistance.
• Advise participating agencies on agency setup, process flow, and volunteer recruitment for Link2Feed purposes.
• Train, supervise and schedule volunteers, staff and/or interpreters as needed to support implementation process.
• Assess partner capacity to implement Link2Feed. Guide, teach, and provide direction to streamline the Link2Feed implementation process.
• Update Link2Feed training curricula and other materials.
• Provide training, technical assistance, advice, and logistical support for existing L2F agencies.
• Respond to technical support requests.
• Support Program Lead with relationship management, budget monitoring, purchase orders, internal reporting, expansion strategy, agency compliance, resource management, and agency communications as needed.
• Contribute to the Statewide Network Team with 4 other program developers and the Statewide Network Manager, to define and build consensus for OFB’s strategic direction and culture; including personal learning to address systemic inequity and its role in food insecurity.

Skills and Experiences of the Ideal Candidate:
• At least 3 years demonstrated success in a combination of the following areas: project management, community development, program coordination, training or adult education, sales, and or technology implementation. Or satisfactory equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
• Ability to communicate and engage diverse perspectives. Ability to develop and make effective presentations to varied audiences. Ability to develop reports that may include technical information.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience troubleshooting software applications and functional issues at the client level.
• Proficient in computer skills and familiarity with software and applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, OneNote, Outlook, CRM (HighRise) and GoToMeeting; ability to quickly master new software and online tools.
• Experience with digital records retention and data management: Constituent Relationship Management (CRM), GIS, and physical inventory systems.
• Proven ability to plan and facilitate successful community meetings or events; including remotely organizing and coordinating events.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail; ability to handle interruptions, maintain focus on tasks and produce accurate work.
• Ability to work independently and make programmatic decisions.
• Proven success as a technical assistance provider with diverse stakeholders, ideally with a range of approaches and methods.
• A collaborative and flexible style, with a learning orientation, including excellent judgment, diplomacy, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience in modeling cultural proficiency and demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion and social justice.
• Professional or volunteer experience within food banking, hunger relief programming and/or community food systems work.
• Ability to deliver presentations and reports that include technical information.
• Proficiency in a language other than English, bi-lingual and bi-cultural skills strongly preferred.
• Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and standard office equipment.
• Experience and expertise in conflict resolution.
• Willingness to use personal vehicle for OFB business.
The Fine Print: Work is performed in a variety of office environments and other locations inside and outside of Oregon Food Bank while using a telephone and sitting at a computer screen for extended periods. May lift, move, and carry objects of about 20 pounds, such as boxes, materials, and other supplies. Frequent travel by car to points outside the greater Portland metro area, with overnight stays 6-8 times a year, as well as work outside normal working hours, such as evenings and weekends.
