Supervisor V, Project Controls (R17-591)
Responsible for supervision of project controls specialists for the Company’s large power generation, transmission, and distribution projects. Ensure that project controls are developed and implemented effectively and consistently across all projects to deliver results (safe execution, on-budget, on-schedule, risks minimized/mitigated). Ensure compliance with regulatory and PGE corporate requirements. Coordinate with various PGE departments and groups, outside contractors/vendors as required to ensure scheduling, cost control, regulatory, reporting and other project requirements are met. This position is expected to support projects that may be in remote locations requiring frequent travel to the construction jobsite.
• Requires 8 or more years of applicable experience.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction or project management.
• Utility experience and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Ability to effectively supervise team members and provide guidance and direction for a diverse range of work activities.
• Extensive knowledge in project management/project controls, principles, techniques, methods and standards.
• Proficient knowledge in developing/updating resource forecasts, cash flows and the use of Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel software.
