The Role:

Provide strategic direction and execute on the development, implementation and ongoing management of the Company’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) program. Implement programs and initiatives to support ECM, including the effective life cycle management of content, records and Company policies, procedures and forms, transition to electronic versus paper based documentation as appropriate. Serve as subject matter expert on records and content management practices to ensure compliance to support business goals and needs.

Day to Day:

Update, implement and manage content (record) systems and provide ongoing evaluation, establishment and improvement of standards and processes relating to recordkeeping and content management creation, filing/custody, reproduction, duplication and maintenance.
Direct the maintenance of documentation relative to records retention, including record inventories, storage information and disposition schedules.
Coordinate with IT and Legal Departments on practices relating to content and records management, storage/retention of departing employee information, legal holds / preservation requirements, and other content and records related t cross-department interests, projects or processes.
Manage off-site record storage areas and evaluate ongoing record storage requirements, working in conjunction with departments and Facilities in planning and for improvements/efficiencies through selection and monitoring of vendors. Update and maintain processes associated with appropriate off-site storage.
Coordination and execution of annual record destruction process.
Implement, maintain and review change control procedures for Company policies, procedures and forms. Identify and implement improvements through effective life cycle management of the same along with content and records.
Provide strategic direction to and facilitate work groups in converting/maintaining company business content and records on/in approved systems.
Ongoing evaluation of existing practices and opportunities for improvement towards enterprise content management goals, taking the lead in executing on the same in conjunction with business partners.
Come on your first day with:

Bachelor’s degree with a major in business, planning/program management, records management, legal, or auditing.
A minimum of 8 years’ experience with implementation and management of information/content management systems, including at least five years of related project management experience.
Demonstrated understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for corporate governance, content control and records management and demonstrated ability to translate and implement the same effectively into a business environment.
Certification in Records and Information Management is highly preferred.
Ability to develop, implement, communicate and manage high-level / enterprise wide corporate plans.
Strong communication and writing skills with particular emphasis applying best practices, concepts and strategies to accomplish business focused results. Technical writing experience is desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills with the ability to interact and provide subject-matter expertise to all levels of the organization and work effectively in cross-departmental teams.
Detail-oriented with ability to understand strategic direction and maintain big-picture concepts.
Demonstrated ability to be self-managed and apply skills in problem solving and decision-making.
Demonstrated skills in leadership, including directing or leading others, decision-making, collaboration, delegating and coordinating activities, coaching and developing others, and successfully negotiating and managing conflict.
Strong organizational skills. Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage, oversee and coordinate multiple tasks, and meet targets and deadlines.
Ability to maintain credibility in areas of expertise, functions as a proactive and participatory/collaborative team member, and maintains confidentiality.
Understands and can apply business decision-making and work management trends and practices.
Understands and balances varying needs of customers and stakeholders across the organization, and demonstrates strong client/customer service.
Proficient in MS Office or similar technology, including spreadsheet, word processing, and project management. Strong research, data collection and data analysis skills; strong knowledge of SharePoint required.

Base salary Range– Min. $72,950 (*$80,400 to $100,950) Max. $105,800
