The Oregon Health Authority is modernizing and expanding their analytics team and currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Research Analyst with dynamic programming experience to join an excellent team and work to advance their analytics function.
What you will do!
As a Research Analyst, you will serve in a lead capacity on major issues related to hospital programs. You will design, develop and implement automated systems to monitor and analyze hospital claims, encounters and other payment data for budget, financial and actuarial needs.
In this role, you will lead research efforts for find data to support our hospital assessment program and Oregon Health and Science University's IGT program. You will perform data pulls and analysis of hospital fee-for-service claims and CCO encounters; and ad hoc data pulls and analysis for program and policy inquiries from inside and outside the agency.

A Bachelor's Degree in any disciplines that included six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures, and three years of experience using computerized applications to independently gather, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports. Two of the three years must have included coordinating complex research projects.

• Experience programming in SAS.
• Experience developing and applying complex models using Microsoft Excel.
