Our Program Manager is responsible for overseeing our small project management team and for supporting and overseeing the realization of key business initiatives from initial specification to implementation and evaluation. This manager will need both leadership and team mentoring skills as well as personal technical abilities and skills. Projects span internal process improvement initiatives as well as business development and expansion opportunities. This team drives projects independently across multiple departments while managing relationships both internally and with a variety of clients and vendors. Our project managers play a pivotal role in communication between departments and up through management. They will regularly interface with accounting, sales and customer service, operations, pharmacy workflow, regulatory and development.
Program Management and Administration:
Responsible creating and guiding the operational plans that govern the implementation and administration of the following companywide programs on behalf of both internal and external customers: 1) all vendor related pilots, programs and initiatives including staff incentive, dose replenishment and request now programs 2) promotional creation, implementation and reporting for vendors, customers and internal stakeholders 3) coordination with all eConnect partners 4) catalog and pricing management 5) Key Account customer onboarding and support and 6) management of stakeholder engagement and prioritization of internal system facing development efforts. Program responsibilities can be added at any time to broaden program list and scope.
Project Team Management:
Guide, mentor and direct the project management team to ensure the realization of key business goals and initiatives through superior project management support. Identify, assign and manage the best resources for given initiatives and maintain proper coordination and collaboration of team efforts to deliver projects according to plan. Focus team on highest company wide priorities and adjust as the business evolves. Ensure excellence in focus, planning, communication, engagement of stakeholders, company wide teamwork and collaboration and successful project outcomes
Responsible for guiding and mentoring team in mission of superior support of enterprise needs with a focus on innovation, continual improvement and clear communication.
Ensure team is aligned and working toward company strategies, decisions and goals. Guide team prioritization as company focus shifts or intensifies.
Drive and manage daily operations within the specific scope of responsibilities focusing on pro-active, effective and timely results. Directs, coordinates and oversees team on a continuing basis to make necessary improvements to ensure team’s readiness, efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure excellent internal and external customer service and support from team members.
Work closely and collaboratively with other departments, including outside scope of specific responsibility when needed, to help achieve overall company success
Actively seek out and develop solutions to challenges that prevent Vetsource from achieving our potential

Excellent computer skills are required; experience using email, instant message, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint as well as the ability to learn how to navigate unfamiliar systems or programs quickly.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Oversight of operational activities for the team, hiring and conducting coaching conversations, including review of performance and goal setting for next quarter.
Meets regularly with staff both departmentally and one on one.
Provide staff with feedback regarding performance metrics to include corrective action if necessary.
Responsible for coaching, training, mentoring and motivating staff.
Coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the activities of the subordinates.

Work sitting at a computer for extended periods of time
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management or equivalent job related experience.
