We’re seeking a Director of Accounting Operations at our Northeast Portland headquarters. Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Accounting Operations is responsible for the daily management and operation of our general accounting and financial reporting functions, payroll, accounts payable, cash/treasury management, and internal and external audit programs. The Director is also responsible for implementing and maintaining internal controls and ensuring financial reporting is compliance with our financial policies and US GAAP.
The ideal candidate will hold an undergraduate degree in accounting, and a CPA is preferred; 7-10 years progressively responsible experience in accounting, including general ledger maintenance, fund accounting, budgeting/forecasting, and staff supervision; strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, and Microsoft Excel; and strong interpersonal skills to enable effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
