Become part of our journey by:
Developing, scheduling, and implementing PGE’s interchange transactions and generating resources on a Real Time basis through the bilateral market and the California ISO Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) to ensure the Company’s daily energy and capacity requirements are economically met.  
Assisting in the development and implementation of PGE’s short-term resource plan and wholesale marketing strategies.
Performing work necessary to properly account for PGE’s power operation activities.

You can bring the following skills to our team:
Typically an associate degree (or higher) in business, engineering, or a related field and five years utility experience in power scheduling, system dispatching, thermal/hydro plant operations, or power marketing.
Thorough knowledge of CAISO EIM Business Practices and Market Rules.
Thorough knowledge of PGE generating plant capabilities and limitations.
Thorough knowledge of water management policies and procedures for PGE’s hydro facilities or equivalent experience managing cascading hydro projects.
Thorough knowledge of PGE power scheduling and dispatching policies and procedures.
Thorough knowledge of electrical theory underlying reliable operation of electrical systems.
Thorough knowledge of industry and government criteria that apply to operation of electrical power transmission systems.
Thorough knowledge of OASIS and the OATT.
Must be able to deal effectively with the pressures of real-time problem solving, with the demands of shift work and to multitask in a busy trading environment.
High level of teamwork and human relations skills.
Effective problem solving skills.
Good analytical and personal computer spreadsheet skills.
