Position Summary: PPCW is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist (with light security duties) for our Regional Service Center administrative offices, which shares an entrance with our NE Health Center. Duties include greeting and directing visitors, answering the telephone and transferring calls, receiving and distributing mail and deliveries, handling confidential information, and providing guidance on emergency issues. Performs administrative duties as assigned and manages the front desk and lobby appearance at all times.

Compensation: $14.00 hourly wage

Position Details: This position is non-exempt and non-represented

Schedule: Part-time (24 hrs/week). Monday 11:30 am – 8 pm and Saturday 6:45 am – 3:15 pm. 8 hours flexible schedule available for afternoon shifts
Tuesday - Friday, depending on staffing and operational needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-One (1) year customer service experience, preferably in a front desk/reception setting.
-Multi-line phone system experience.
-Demonstrated intermediate computer skills, specifically proficiency with Word and Excel.
-Experience relaying confidential and sensitive information to appropriate individuals.
-Superior customer-oriented telephone etiquette, ability to establish rapport.
-Demonstrated ability to maintain a polite, friendly and calm demeanor in difficult situations.

Essential Functions:
-Main provider for directing traffic throughout the building and parking lot, whether patient check-in direction, administrative appointments or vendors and delivery.
-Act as point of contact during building evacuation or if other emergency situation arises; communicate with Security and Facilities Manager immediately.
-Responsible for overhead and phone paging system use as needed.
-Follow security protocol in sorting daily USPS mail.
-Accurately distribute faxes, packages and inter-office courier envelopes to appropriate staff.
-Manage main reception area security features for key-read doors, elevator access, etc.
-Develop and manage projects to support initiatives and audits.
-Monitor security camera footage and parking lot as needed.
-As directed, monitor various websites for protester activity.
-Back up for Security and Facilities Assistant Manager.
-Assist other department projects with available time following approval from supervisor.
-Other duties as assigned
-Physical requirements: must be able to sit, walk, stand, squat, twist/bend neck & waist, reach above/below shoulder height, utilize repetitive hand movement (simple/power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling) for 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
