Entry Salary: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00/yr
FTE: Full time - 40 hours
JOB SUMMARY: The HR Generalist supports the Human Resources department in administration of new hires, employment status changes and benefits. This position works closely with the Payroll and Benefits specialist, the HR Director and provides support to all levels of the organization.
Any combination of experience and training that would likely meet the following requirements:
Minimum of two to four years of human resources administrative experience, including new hire processing, coordination with payroll, and benefits administration.
Considerable knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Familiarity with leave and benefits laws and practices, including the ability to learn to guide managers and employees in these areas.
Ability to attend to detail.
Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple and varied tasks.
