Say Hey! for Interns Sponsored by Kaiser Permanente and Portland Center Stage

Partners in Diversity

On June 22nd, Kaiser Permanente and Portland Center Stage hosted Say Hey! for Interns at The Armory. They welcomed nearly 100 young professionals to the Pacific Northwest by highlighting what makes this region a great place to live, play, and pursue a rewarding career. Remarks were made by Mari Watanabe, Executive Director of Partners in Diversity, Waleed Saddrudin, Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Kaiser Permanente, Kelsey Tyler, Education and Community Programs Director at Portland Center Stage, and Councilor Lori Stegmann of the City of Gresham. Several community organizations hosted informational tables to inform interns about opportunities for both professional and personal development. These organizations included: Kaiser Permanente, the Portland Business Alliance Ambassadors, the Emerging Professionals of Portland (EPOP), Portland Center Stage, Literary Arts, Latino Network, Urban League of Portland, Portland Parks and Recreation, Oregon Sports Authority, and Playworks Pacific Northwest.
