Parna Mehrbani is an attorney at Lane Powell, where she manages the firm’s trademark registration and enforcement practice, including portfolios for local, national, and international companies at all stages. She counsels clients on clearance, prosecution, licensing, and the enforcement of their trademark portfolios. She has particular experience working with companies in the apparel, footwear, consumer products, food and beverage, cannabis, and education services industries. Parna has broad experience in a wide array of intellectual property issues, including copyright registration, advice, and enforcement, right of publicity, trade secret, licensing, litigation, all manner of intellectual property contracting, and use and enforcement of intellectual property on-line in the e-commerce and social media context. Parna is the Hiring Partner in Lane Powell’s Portland office and Co-chair of the Firm’s Diversity Committee.
In 2015, Portland Business Journal named Parna a “Woman of Influence.” Parna is a graduate of both Portland Business Alliance’s Leadership Portland and Business for Culture & the Arts, Art of Leadership Programs. She remains actively involved in the community, presenting and mentoring to local law students, and having served numerous positions and Boards across business professional organizations in Portland and beyond.
