There are currently four vacant voting member positions on the Oregon Law Enforcement Contacts Policy and Data Review Committee (LECC). Please share this announcement with your networks. Who we are: The LECC is a statewide, governor-appointed committee charged with assisting Oregon law enforcement agencies with stop data collection and analysis and improving community relations through training and making policy recommendations to ensure equity for all communities in Oregon. Originally created by the Legislature in 2001, the LECC’s role was expanded in 2015 to include the collection of complaints alleging profiling by Oregon law enforcement agencies. The LECC also provides anti-bias trainings, analyzes stop and search data, and publishes an annual report on policing in Oregon.
