Why did you move here?
I moved to Portland to pursue a new career opportunity at Brown Hope! As the Black Resilience Fund Program Manager I work closely with Brown Hope leadership to increase the success of the Black Resilience Fund. I serve as an ambassador to the fund to stakeholders and the broader Portland and Multnomah community.
What is one thing that you need/want from a community right now?
I am always looking to build community with people who are also aligned with promoting racial equity and justice and creating a space for sharing resources.
What kind of civic connection are you interested in making?
I would love to connect to folks who are doing work around community development , improving local food systems and engaging in policy making that centers racial equity & lived experience.
