Why did you move here?

I'm delighted to have relocated to Portland for a new position at Oregon Health Sciences University. I last lived in Oregon 20 years ago and our family is glad to be back.

What is one thing that you need/want from a community right now?

I'm looking to form connections with the EDI community in Portland. I hold several leadership positions related to equity, diversity and inclusion and am particularly interested in social justice and health care.

What kind of civic connection are you interested in making?

I am looking to connect with other indigenous groups in the region to learn about the resources already available and to get a sense of what the needs in the community are. I'm also interested in learning more about the services available for underserved communities as it relates to health care (physical and mental).
