Why did you move here?

I was born and raised in Newark, NJ but, every year since high school, I've moved progressively West. After three years in Albuquerque, it was time for another change and Portland has so many pockets that remind me of home. It seemed like an easy next step and I have not been disappointed!

What is one thing that you need/want from a community right now?

I am interested in identifying systems of support and care of Black and Latino families.

What kind of civic connection are you interested in making?

It would be wonderful to get to know people in the arts and design worlds so I can continue to expand my craft as a painter and seamstress!
