The eComm Creative Director is our strategic and visionary leader and responsible for all aspects of creative development, including creative direction, art direction, graphic design, copy writing, photography and videography. They provide leadership, direction and ideation for the Columbia.com and Sorel.com experience and teams. This collaborative leader is an exceptional creative talent and leader that loves the creative process and understands how words and visuals can produce marketing communications that delight customers, elevate the brand, and drive the business forward. You will lead the creative team, and work with business leaders across our global organization.



Responsibilities:
•Develop the creative strategy for Columbia.com and Sorel.com eCommerce platforms; the design, copy and user on our websites,emails, online advertising and other interactive projects.
•Develop,lead, guide, direct and lead the eCommerce Creative Teams to deliver on-brand digital assets, photography, engaging content and other messaging consistent with company brand strategy
•Develop and execute a high volume of creative campaigns that deliver on brand and/or performance metrics across all channels - site, in app, paid, social, email, content, and more.
•Communicate creative strategy to their design and copy teams, internal partners and outside agencies so there is alignment on look/feel.
•Establish creative parameters and ensure all are met for expression of brand marketing efforts in regard to design, graphics, content and photography.
•Integrate with all business channel and creative leads (Retail & Wholesale) to create strong multi-channel and an integrated brand approach.
•Recruit develop and mentor creative talent.
•Track,monitor and implement creative trends in the marketplace appropriate to the brand.
•Leverage and develop industry relationships with designers, photographers; project based freelance design and production staff.
•Provide creative oversight to internal creative team ensuring that all concepts and executions meet agreed upon business objectives and strategies.
•Oversee,direct and adhere to budgets for key areas of accountability.
•Review and edit processes to meet timeline commitments for creative deliverables.
•Partner closely with other creative groups in the company, ensuring a consistent message and look and feel in all digital consumer material. Utilize motion graphics and video to enhance the digital branding.
•Utilize site metrics to drive decisions on messaging and design. Deliver work on schedule, as agreed upon with the production team. Drive site enhancements and ideas based on industry best practices and emerging trends.
•Maintains positive relationships with clients both inside and outside of the company.

Requirements:
•BA/BFA in Art or Design.
•15+years of in-house and/or agency experience, with at least 7 years at the leadership level managing creative/art direction, graphic design,photography, videography, copy writing and advertising.
•12+years managing creative teams – proven track record in managing, coaching and developing senior level creative talent.
•Extensive experience creating integrated campaigns across all marketing channels in an e-commerce environment
•Strong background of creative leadership, with stunning portfolio of world-class marketing and brand campaigns
