Position Overview

The Billing Supervisor will be responsible for providing Billing Services, and potentially, Account Management to one or more clinics and will have direct supervision of Billing Specialists. You'll work with your outstanding colleagues to provide superior billing services to OBS clients -- who also happen to be our Clinic Members. You're working with the Epic and/or NextGen software systems, suggesting system improvements while supporting the entire Revenue Cycle for our FQHC Members (Acronym alert = Federally Qualified Health Center/Clinic).

This position will involve detailed financial analysis to recognize potential high risk accounts and develop techniques to help collect money and streamline processes. Difficult or unique collection problems will be escalated to the Leadership for you to work through together. Our Billing Supervisors work with our dedicated Leadership Team to set and create policies and procedures for the department to enhance our effectiveness and efficiency resolve issues, and apply new information to future collection issues.
