The College and Science Department
The Science Department of Clackamas Community College (CCC) announces the availability of one full-time Environmental Science faculty position beginning Fall quarter of 2020. The Department uses a lead instructor model where the lead instructor or instructors work collaboratively to provide class, lab and online content across all class sections. CCC offers a wide range of life and physical science courses for science majors and non-majors. The College and the Department have a long-standing history of collective decision-making and does so with a central goal in mind - students must come first. Clackamas is a comprehensive community college in the Portland metro area that provides transfer degree programs, career programs, community education classes, developmental education, and training programs for business and industry. Environmental science classes are taught at multiple CCC locations.

The successful candidate will be a creative, collaborative, and participatory faculty member with an expertise in environmental science and environmental science education who brings a passion for teaching and a desire to support and mentor CCC students.
