Responsibilities:

•Enter data from packing lists of received goods into PkMS.


•Requires running confirmed receipt reports off of PkMS, reconciling information to packing lists and arranging daily batches to be sent to JDE.


•Train members of other Distribution Center departments in procedures for creating receipts. Includes information on decision making process required to determine if a receipt needs to be created.


•Provide other departments in the Distribution Center with information related to incoming and received freight. Maintain/update receiving logs and container logs on a daily basis.


•If necessary, oversee off-site storage procedures by maintaining/updating an Excel spreadsheet, which tracks all pallet loads sent off-site for storage. Track SKU, quantity of product, storage fees and related freight costs. Requires incumbent to follow established procedures for pulling and staging pallet loads.


•Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while using distribution center computer system.


•Maintain positive open lines of communication with all Columbia Sportswear management, staff and other departments in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization.


•Ability to cope with a stressful work environment and cordially interact with coworkers to accomplish common tasks.

Requirements:

•High school education or equivalent


•A minimum of 5 years experience required


•At least one year’s experience working with spreadsheet and word processing applications.


•Previous experience in inventory control or data entry preferred.


•Must possess good organizational and interpersonal skills


•Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English


•Attention to detail and ability to count accurately required
