Responsible for planning, organizing and directing all facility-related issues. Develop and manage related budgets, oversee contracts including lease agreements. Manage security of facility.

Direct and supervise employee activities for facility, equipment and grounds maintenance personnel in all service facets, including security, repair, manufacture, installation and maintenance of production and building equipment to support the entire production and building function. Manage security of facilities and grounds.


Develop and manage budgets and projects for facility expansion, facility modification, equipment installations, new construction, all maintenance activities, building lease agreements, selected new equipment & tools, equipment calibration.
Budget and project management include coordination with all stakeholders, logistics, management and coordination of contractors or others; develop project justification and evaluation of project options. Manage project schedules, scope, timelines and budgets to completion.
Work with suppliers, contractors and consultants to identify and negotiate procurement of facilities and maintenance related materials, goods and services. Negotiate suppliers' contracts in coordination with other stakeholders and monitor the performance.
Manage maintenance personnel providing direction to staff to meet goals and directives. Responsible for hiring, firing, performance and reviews.
Demonstrate hands-on maintenance support as needed, as well as the ability to train and supervise others in maintenance and facility projects while able to simultaneously manage larger initiatives.
Use various computer systems to facilitate PM scheduling, project performance and other functions.
Demonstrate a good working knowledge of engineering and technology for facility, mechanical equipment for manufacturing.
Maintain facility security and access. Coordinate facility security system with vendors and law enforcement.
Proactively and effectively communicate with all stakeholders on facility issues.
Physically inspect and monitor the condition and work in progress of all areas of the facility.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram or schedule form.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization in partnership with more senior engineering staff.
Ability to use SolidWorks, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.


Typically requires a Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four-year university and a minimum of 10 years related experience or an equivalent combination of experience involved in manufacturing machine maintenance and support services operations. Must have an extensive technical background and professional skills that include the ability to develop documentation, procedures, systems, and to direct other technical people. Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical information in mathematical form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Developed long-term planning at the macro level up to 5 years and in detail up to an 18-month horizon. Applied advanced knowledge of electrical currents, electromechanical systems, wiring diagrams, common electrical terminology, etc. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
