Category Manager Professional Services (R18-706)
As the Category Manager overseeing professional services, you will develop and implement procurement plans and strategies to support forecasted needs for businesses. Establish and implement strategies for negotiating pricing and terms. We are looking for someone who is customer focus and enjoys working with a variety of people, detail oriented and likes to problem solve.
Bring the following skills to our team:
Knowledge of inventory control practices and systems.
Knowledge of contracting and procurement methods, standards, procedures and processes.
Knowledge of business practices and market conditions applicable to program and technical requirements sufficient to evaluate bids, contractor responsibility and contractor performance.
Skilled in formulating sourcing strategies that accomplish performance and savings goals, anticipate potential threats or opportunities and are consistent with company goals and policies.
Skilled in negotiating contracts for goods and services.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, finance or other related field or equivalent experience and typically five or more years in supply chain, category management/strategic sourcing or related field.
