Business Systems Analyst – IT Infrastructure

As a Business Systems Analyst on our IT Infrastructure team, you will have the unique opportunity to act as a liaison between our IT Infrastructure team and the business to elicit, document, analyze and validate requirements for new systems and enhancements of existing systems. You will analyze business processes/problems to be solved with automated systems, identify gaps, and provide expertise in business requirements for system specifications. In addition, you will scale both new and current systems, as well as processes and procedures in a cost-effective manner. Plus you get to be part of a new team with the potential to not only directly impact IT, but across the whole organization!

A successful candidate will have the following functional competencies: Intermediate knowledge of business analysis framework. Advanced knowledge of discovery techniques and requirements definition. Advanced knowledge of requirements documentation Intermediate knowledge of client relationship management techniques and client service models Intermediate knowledge of business process improvement frameworks. Intermediate knowledge of change management including opportunity and benefits recognition.

You are someone with strong critical thinking skills, the ability to multi-task and basic technical analysis skills. You need to know high-level infrastructure across the board and have phenomenal interpersonal communication skills. A successful Business Systems Analyst will help our business partners figure out the best infrastructure and architectural solutions for their applications and systems.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, management or other related field or equivalent experience. It also requires typically five or more years in a related field. This role requires experience in or knowledge of specific line of business and/or IT environment. We are in the early phases of adoption to the Cloud, so some Cloud competency is nice to have.
