Our Manager of Brand and Content Strategy helps shape a long-term vision for Jama that supports business objectives and aligns with product marketing and sales efforts. You’ll help us define and tell our brand story, and champion the positioning, messaging, and brand voice included in the narrative. You will lead a team that is responsible for creating content and exceptional creative to fuel demand generation.  You’re responsible for continual strategic development efforts to grow and improve the Jama brand, increase awareness of the company, support awareness through compelling content and share the right stories at the right time through public relations. This role requires a strategic, editorial thinker who can ensure creative ideas and marketing initiatives align to brand messaging, express a brand voice, and maintain content consistency.

What you’ll get to do:

Brand messaging strategy development, content creation, publication calendars, content inventories and audits, content mapping and governance documentation
Translate data into stories
Facilitate the content development process
Build messaging frameworks that drive adoption in various channels and contexts
Improve site traffic and social followers
Drive new sales leads with relevant content to send prospects
Lead content and creative for marketing initiatives across all inbound channels (social, email, blog, landing pages, etc.)
Develop the strategy and processes to scale output content
Make data-driven decisions to move the team and our content forward and hit company goals
Manage content creation agencies and freelancers
Support marketing with creative direction on brand-level video, web, and graphic design projects

Education and Experience:

8-10+ years of agency and in-house experience as a content strategist or writer
3+ years working on a technology brand as a content or brand strategist
3-5+ years experience leading teams
Experience developing brand style guidelines or messaging architectures for at least two brands
Strong understanding of experience design
Consultancy experience
