The Oregon Health Authority, Health Systems Division (HSD) currently has one full-time opportunity for a Quality Assurance Support Specialist (Office Specialist 2) in Salem, Oregon. This position provides staff and clerical support to the quality assurance manager and Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) operations team.

What you will do!
As a member of the Quality Assurance and Compliance team, you will support the team to ensure adherence to standards for quality and access to care by the CCOs.

This position entails a high volume of diverse work and suits a person who is flexible in changing priorities to meet tight deadlines of their work products. Your background in an environment with constant interruptions, moderate noise levels while working on multiple projects is ideal. You will rely on your experience prioritizing to meet deadlines.

In this position you will work with a variety of team members and have interactions with customers or stakeholders that may, at times, be hostile or argumentative.

You will perform a variety of secretarial and administrative tasks such as:

Leverage technology to streamline processes
Preparing and editing documentation
Coordinate internal and external meetings and communication
Serve as contact person with CCOs for the Quality Assurance and Compliance team
What we are looking for!

Two years of general clerical experience, one year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents;
Experience using office machinery (e.g. multi-line phone, copiers, facsimile, smart board, Skype);
Experience providing customer service phone or in-person;
Experience working with confidential or sensitive information;
Experience gathering, reviewing, entering and retrieving data;
Experience making decisions related to the priority level of the compliant content of calls and emails;
Experience using Microsoft Office software such as Word, Outlook, and proprietary software such as Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), etc.;
Experience in creating and maintaining a work environment that is respectful and accepting of diversity among team members and the people we serve.
