POSITION SUMMARY:

Catholic Charities is seeking a Temporary full-time SharePoint / IT Specialist position for approximately five months. This position will assist our I.T. Department with the Office 365 Implementation of SharePoint sites for our employee intranet and Program Team Sites. The position will also assist with some IT helpdesk requests for Office 365 and Windows 10 issues.



PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creation of basic departmental intranet site.
Building, configuring and deploying SharePoint Online Employee Intranet and Microsoft Teams in Office 365.
Design, development and support of enterprise applications, intranet portals, workflow automation using SharePoint Online and O365 technologies.
Understand business requirements and convert them into high quality IT solutions.
Train end users on various features and use cases of Teams, SharePoint, and other O365 applications.
Troubleshooting Windows 10 and Office 365 issues and responding to helpdesk requests.
Participate in trainings and coordination meetings as requested by Supervisor.
Adherence to Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree (or greater) in technology related degree required and two year experience or the equivalent of three years' experience creating O365 SharePoint sites and doing desktop support.
Ability to create, manage and maintain SharePoint Collections and Sites.
Experienced in providing user guidance, training, best practices and support to SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and related tasks.
Experience creating Office 365 SharePoint Sites or collaborative tools to include lists, document/form libraries, discussion boards, surveys, calendars.
Experience providing desktop support for Windows 10 and Office 365.
Demonstrate judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
Commitment to Catholic Charities mission to work in partnership with vulnerable populations to achieve lasting solutions to poverty and injustice.
Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner. High attention to detail required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well in team setting, as well as independently; be flexible and adapt well to different dynamics in a fast paced work environment.
Ability to lift 40 pounds.
Travel between sites in Portland required. Must have driver's license, access to vehicle and ability to obtain automobile insurance at levels required by agency (100/300/100).
Satisfactory results from criminal, civil and/or motor vehicle background check required.
