QC Inspector I


Responsible for determining fabricated/machined product acceptance using a variety of inspection gages and specifications.

NOTE: Shift is MON-FRI, 7:00 am to 3:45 pm.


Perform incoming, in-process and final dimensional inspection using a variety of gages; micrometers, calipers, test indicators, height gages, based on the drawing of the product to be measured.
Perform visual inspection against internal/customer cosmetic specifications.
Document inspection results per customer requirements.
Bag and label product per customer requirements.
Perform daily checks of gages.
Interface with Manufacturing and Engineering regarding product quality issues.
Assist Engineering and Manufacturing in special projects, as appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Familiarity with interpreting mechanical drawings.
Able to interpret and apply internal or customer specifications and standards.
Able to apply inspection methods and proper use of inspection equipment used to determine product acceptance.
Proficient in basic mathematical applications; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
Basic knowledge of the use of computers, Microsoft Office software platform, and e-mail.


High School diploma or equivalent.
1 year of equivalent experience in an inspection or quality control environment preferred.
