Salary: $56,251.00 - $81,563.00 annually

If so, the Oregon Convention Center (OCC) welcomes your enthusiasm to join our team. Responsibilities include providing project management of smaller, non-capital projects, managing multiple service contracts (including the landscaping), developing scopes of work for bidding and contracting, managing key inventory, coordinating maintenance requests from staff and clients, tracking of items for Salmon Safe, LEED and other facility certifications, managing the permitting process with the City of Portland's Facility Permit Program and directing, coordinating and overseeing the work of the maintenance staff.
This position has many diverse responsibilities in an environment with unlimited opportunity for learning new skills while working with in a variety of different programs. We're looking for team members that are curious and have a desire to continue to build their professional knowledge of project management, contract management, employee management, Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and the convention business.
The Maintenance Supervisor works under the direction of the Facilities Manager to oversee planned and unplanned maintenance of the facility being performed by both staff and contractors. The position assists in the implementation of policies, programs and services to ensure effective utilization of resources and regulatory compliance.
The Oregon Convention Center is LEED Platinum Certified. We have one of the largest solar panel arrays on a U.S. convention center which produces 25% of the electricity we use. • High School Diploma or GED
• Specialized training in building maintenance
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in building maintenance
• A minimum of two (2) years of lead or supervisory experience
• Current driver's license
• May be required to obtain a current and valid forklift certification
• Any combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the classification duties and responsibilities.
