Salary: $59,113.60 - $79,268.80 annually
Bring your copywriting, communications and project management skills to the Oregon Zoo, where you will support the groundbreaking wildlife research and conservation efforts and educational outreach programs at the region's most popular attraction.
In this position, you will perform a variety of marketing and writing duties, including developing and editing on-brand content for a variety of formats; managing publication projects; and ensuring copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style across the zoo's communications channels.

As part of the Metro family, the zoo provides opportunities to learn about wildlife for more than 1.5 million visitors each year. It is home to about 2,500 individual animals representing more than 215 types of amphibians, birds, fish, invertebrates and mammals. Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or a related field, and two years of professional experience in those fields; or any combination of experience and education that provides this applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the job.
Experience should include work as a copywriter in an agency or in-house team environment, and a minimum of one year developing content for web/social media.
