Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve is hiring for a front desk, cashier/receptionist focused in exceptional customer service. This position is a great opportunity to be a front facing representative holding key information for patrons. Assisting them to discover what programs, events, and education Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve has to offer.

Ideal candidate must be able to have professional phone and office etiquette, strong customer service skills, be comfortable in diverse environments and be able to multi-task efficiently.

General Statement of Duties
This position provides customer service and support at the front desk at the Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve. Job duties include, but are not limited to: assisting patrons with class registrations, and sales; providing patrons with information about programs, events, classes and workshops; providing patrons with information about facility rentals; and performing a variety of office duties. Strong computer and communication skills are essential.

Acceptable Experience and Training

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Some customer service or general office experience; or any combination of experience and training which provides the equivalent scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work.
• Microsoft Suite experience preferred.
