We are seeking enthusiastic applicants who enjoy working in a fast paced and friendly environment. Event Custodians are responsible for tasks that are essential to providing a memorable experience for both shows and guest by ensuring that our venues and performance centers are clean and welcoming.
This position is responsible for final area set-up and event maintenance and follow-up; assuring that restrooms, lobbies and other public/non-public areas are clean, orderly and properly maintained. Event Custodians work under the direction of the Portland'5 Senior Set-Up Supervisor.
Multiple part-time positions are available! This event-driven role is a great fit for those looking for flexible, part-time work.
• Day Shift (Shift can begin between 4:00AM to 12:00PM, but typically starts between 6:00 AM - 7:00AM)
• Swing Shift (Shift can begin between 12:00PM to 5:00PM, but typically starts between 2:00PM – 4:00PM)
Probationary Step 1: $15.27; Step 2: $17.26/hour
Beginning wage is at Step 1. An employee achieves Step 2 after successful completion of the probationary period (minimum of 400 hours) of work.

Minimum of one year experience in facility cleaning or janitorial work. Must have open availability to work an event-driven schedule, which may include nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Willingness to obtain a Blood borne Pathogen Training Certification.
