CCC’s Blackburn Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician, LCSW!
Blackburn Center is a new six-floor building in East Portland, Oregon (clinic and housing) that will give vulnerable people access to integrated housing, employment and health services, and provide support they need to stabilize and rebuild their lives.
The Behavioral Health Clinician provides a variety of urgent and ongoing behavioral health services for patients receiving services at CCC.
Duties will include:
Conduct evaluations, including completion of the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) depression scale.
Provide evidenced based short term psychotherapy interventions for patients with PTSD and other disabling mental illnesses.
Use behavioral activation techniques with patients as an adjunct to other treatments.
Lead behavioral health groups up to 4 times per week
Provide behavioral health triage and crisis intervention services to patients experiencing acute difficulty with mental health issues, including suicide assessment, defusing hostility, and disposition planning.
Master’s degree in social work and license in the State of Oregon as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or graduate degree in psychology and licensed in the State of Oregon as a Health Care Psychologist.
Minimum one year clinical experience in relevant setting.
Experience with depression and depression treatment, as well as prior exposure to brief, structured counseling techniques (eg. CBT or PST) preferred.
Must have current CPR certification at time of hire.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, TB Test, and background check. This includes clearance by the DHS Background Check Unit.
