Business Operations is responsible for supporting the Health Department's mission and goals by providing high quality financial, contracting, and medical billing services to our diverse customers. This position leads the daily functional and technical activities for the Health Department Accounts Receivable (A/R) Unit, develops procedures and internal controls, and serves as the primary internal contact for compiling A/R documentation for external audits. The position will oversee Accounting Services and Financial Technical Assistance, Financial Oversight and Compliance, Financial Reporting and Fee for service revenue accruals and allowance and may exercise technical and functional supervision over staff.
