This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the United States and the region. This position will assist the Talent Development Department in providing administrative support for, among others, programs related to professional development, diversity, and Continuing Legal Education (CLE). This position is also instrumental in supporting the annual associate/of counsel/staff attorney evaluation and compensation processes. The person in this role will work closely with the Senior Talent Development & Diversity Specialist and Talent Development & CLE Coordinator and report to the Director of Talent Development & Diversity. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Talent Development
a. Provides administrative support for the annual and mid-year associate, of counsel, and staff attorney evaluation and compensation process and income partner admission process by handling meeting logistics, preparing meeting materials, tracking deadlines, etc.

2. Diversity & Inclusion
a. Provide administrative support for the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, affinity groups and related programs and initiatives.
b. Assists with internal and external communications for diversity and inclusion programs and events (portal, website, newsletters).
c. Assist with processing sponsorships and coordination of diversity-related events and organizations.
d. Assists with tracking diversity metrics and completing all client diversity requests, external diversity surveys and awards, and internal diversity metrics and statistical requests.

3. CLE/Training
a. Assist with the Talent Development & CLE Coordinator with the logistics of all in-house and CLE professional development and training programs.
b. Assist with researching CLE programs and MCLE rules and regulations.
c. Assist with the CLE accreditation process and tracking of all internal programming.
d. Maintain MCLE compliance files for firm programming.
e. Maintain the firm’s internal CLE Library, including adding new materials, checking materials in and out, and communicating the CLE information.
f. Responsible for CLE data-entry in the Firm’s CLE and LMS software.

4. Bar Dues and Admissions
a. Assist with researching bar rules, admissions processes, and other needs related to lawyer bar renewals and admissions.
b. Assist with annual American Bar Association and state bar association renewals.

5. Budget Administration
a. Assist with the tracking the talent development, CLE, and bar dues annual budget.
b. Handle all talent development, diversity, CLE, bar dues, and training related expenses and invoices in Chrome River.

6. Portal Page Management
a. Maintain the talent development, diversity, CLE/bar dues, associates, and committee portal pages.

Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES
Must possess the following capabilities: strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills; thorough understanding of confidentiality; teamwork oriented; ability to exercise discretion and use good judgment. Must have exceptional organizational and planning skills. Ability to gather information from multiple sources, keep track of many details, handle multiple priorities and simultaneous assignments and demands in a fast-paced, changing environment, and be flexible. Must be willing to assume additional responsibilities as needed, be resourceful in seeking out information when necessary. Must be able to effectively prioritize workload. Must be able to analyze, anticipate consequences, determine necessary follow-up, and take appropriate action to follow through to completion.

Physical/Mental Requirements
Job requires frequent sitting, talking, and listening. Must be able to type on a computer keyboard in a sitting position for long periods of time during a workday. Position requires occasional standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching. Must be able to: operate computer, telephone, photocopy, and other office equipment; read, interpret, and understand written and verbal instructions and information; learn quickly; express ideas clearly in written and verbal form; and maintain stable performance, sometimes under time constraints.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year experience in an administrative position, preferably in a professional or legal services environment. Working knowledge of and experience with Windows-based word processing software and spreadsheets, e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

NORMAL WORK HOURS
This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime compensation. Regular office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, but actual work hours for this position may vary and may include some overtime, including evenings and weekends.
