The Revenue Assurance Specialist assists customers with completing their order by verifying them as the authorized signer and preventing future delays by validating their accounts once verification has been completed. They work on detecting and preventing lost of revenue in the event of unauthorized activity. They consistently and effectively maintain good customer relations and security practices while minimizing the cost of fraud in an ever-changing environment. The Revenue Assurance Specialist understands and strives to fulfill Vesta’s goals and objectives, and performs in compliance with company standards for performance by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer inbound calls for pending verification's, customer reported fraud and denied transactions.
Verify authorized signer of payment device being used by using internal verification procedures.
Effectively explain service information and product knowledge for all programs
Handle customer objections and determine caller needs in a professional manner
Provide support for suspended accounts due to chargeback.
Close accounts that are high risk or need further verification.
Identify good orders to ensure they are not being denied by system.
Assist with angry/upset customer complaints and help provide resolution.
Responsible for meeting performance standards and maintaining monthly goals set by Revenue Assurance Department Management.
Report fraud activity and patterns to management.
