The HRIS Specialist is responsible for providing support for HRIS, Benefits and Payroll solutions for Xenium and our clients. This position serves as the technical point of contact on our HRIS Team with a focus on payroll, benefits, Time and Labor, Onboarding, Hiring and any additional HRIS technology. Assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Specialist is also is project manager on all client technology implementations and other related projects. The HRIS Specialist is responsible for HRIS product life cycles including implementation and system improvements in the Xenium organization. Works collaboratively with all service teams to ensure a high level of expertise and knowledge essential to Xenium clients. This role is expected to support innovations that enhance current HRIS functionality and support process improvements.
•Production Support: Performs system setup and maintenance for Payroll and Benefits modules in Prism; which include, Electronic Onboarding, Hiring, GL Configuration, Timekeeping Configuration and user support with backup to benefits, tax and HR modules
•Reports and Queries: Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using Prism or other third party reporting tools supporting payroll, benefits, tax and HR products
•Training: New system users and internal employees
•Individual Development: Maintain awareness of current trends in Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS with a focus on product development, delivery and support and utilizing key technologies
•Additional Duties: as needed
•Associates degree (A. A.) with at least 2 years of HRIS experience. Payroll system experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Work towards Project Management certification, preferred.
•Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work independently.
•Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
•Must demonstrate trustworthiness, confidentiality, initiative and flexibility.
•Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills required.
