The City of Portland, Bureau of Technology Services (BTS) is seeking an Information Systems Technical Analyst IV (ISTA IV) to join their team.
Information Systems Technical Analysts (ISTA) support, develop and maintain computer systems. The ISTA IV's duties include installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting multiple operating systems, utilizing thorough knowledge and extensive experience supporting operating systems and system upgrades.
This position is an important part of the Bureau Of Technology Services Public Safety Division Network Operations team which is charged with supporting the IT infrastructure for the Portland Police Bureau (PPB). The primary role will be in deployment and support of desktop and mobile computer systems but also may be asked to help out with some limited network or server support at Police locations as directed. The successful candidate may be expected to image Windows desktop and mobile devices, install software, support and debug problems and document solutions for on these systems. In additions the position may also be expected to help with personnel and equipment moves within the PPB and to provide printer support and support for other peripheral devices.
This position is with the Bureau of Technology Services, but is embedded with the Portland Police Bureau. Experience with law enforcement, or law enforcement systems are highly desirable.
