Hi, I’m Alanna Brown, Sr. Director of Field Marketing and Community Relations at Puppet,
I’m looking for a Worldwide Event Marketing Manager to join our team to manage the execution of and logistics for our worldwide program of events.

Meaningful work you’ll contribute:
~Advance engagement within our target markets to increase Puppet’s brand awareness and engagement.
~Drive the development and execution of programs successfully across various types of events including: industry trade shows, smaller regional events and executive dinners.
~Own executing and constantly improving events logistics and processes to ensure optimal results. 
~Collaborate with cross-functional teams to own the definition and execution of Puppet’s events

~Valuable experiences and skills you’ll bring to Puppet:
~5 years experience in event industry required, including, but not limited to: event execution, logistics management, venue negotiations, vendor management, budget management for events such as trade shows, roadshows and proprietary events.
~2-3 years experience managing software user conferences.
~Skilled cross functional project manager
~Event software, SFDC and Marketo experience in regards to lead management and event contribution preferred.
~Strong understanding of demand generation practices.
~Experience working with sales teams and technical experts.
~Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
~Must be able to thrive on cross-functional teams.
~Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
~Budget-minded, enjoys numbers and meticulous tracking event metrics.
~Solutions oriented and relentlessly interested in continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:
~Requires logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
~Requires contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, virtual meetings, VOIP or otherwise) and working and interacting in a group or team.
~Ability to collaborate across groups in fast paced, dynamic environment both in-person and virtually
~Requires the ability to perform physical activities, including but not limited to, walking, standing, sitting for long periods of time, lifting items up to 35 lbs. and/or using, handling and controlling tools
~Ability to travel up to 40% including international travel
