Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare (www.cascadiabhc.org), one of the largest community behavioral health providers in the state of Oregon, delivers whole health care -- integrated mental health and addiction services, primary care and housing -- to support our communities. Our approach is recovery-oriented and trauma-informed. Cascadia hires innovative, compassionate and dedicated staff who are aligned with trauma-informed care and who are committed to working effectively with diverse community populations, and who are expected to strengthen such capacity if hired.
PROGRAM SUPERVISOR II
This is a full time position located at one of Cascadia's outpatient Health Centers in NE Portland. The schedule is Monday - Friday, typical daytime business hours with some flexibility needed for staffing/programming.
The Recovery Services Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision and clinical oversight of the programs offered at the outpatient clinic(s). The program serves outpatient clients whose symptoms of mental illness result in functioning difficulties in several major areas of life, often including work, social relationships, residential independence, money management, and physical health and wellness. The team of clinicians provides care to (a) outpatient clientele as well as (b) the more severely and persistently mentally ill who may require outreach and support in the community as well as in the office. With the high prevalence of trauma among individuals receiving mental health services, it is required the Program Supervisor understand the effects of trauma on health, coping, and other aspects of the lives of those we serve so as to support a trauma-informed care environment.
