As our Partnership Marketing Specialist, you will support the execution and planning of Corporate Partner activations while establishing strong, long-term connections with key corporate accounts.
You will be responsible for:
. Managing a portfolio of partnership accounts including acting as the day-to-day contact for sponsors and coordinating the execution of their contracted assets.
. Supporting Partnership Marketing Managers (PMMs) with Corporate Partner activations, including coordinating season-long promotions and the execution of game day promotions, as well as assisting with the planning and execution of large scale events.
. Supporting Seasonal Planning, Renewal and New business development by researching activation trends and marketing intelligence related to current partners and prospects.
. Driving account renewal strategy and processes by using research, analytics, and finding opportunities for upsell.
. Acting as a secondary point of contact with accounts identified as key partners. Providing additional customer service for our most important clients.
. Collaborating with PMMs on the development of quarterly and annual reports to clients. Reports to include Partner objectives, relevant research analytics, summary of results generated, and recommendations.
. Participating in the planning and execution of events that impact the department as a whole.
. Other tasks as assigned.
You are qualified if:
. You possess a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Journalism, or a related field,; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
. You have a minimum of two years marketing experience (specifically brand, media, digital, advertising, promotions and/or event planning) or related field.
. You can prioritize and manage many projects simultaneously.
. You demonstrate an ability to tackle problems creatively, using the highest degree of diplomacy.
. You can interact with all levels of clients, management and peers.
. You are able to make decisions and work independently with minimal supervision.
. You look to innovate and contribute new ideas.
. You present a professional attitude and strong team orientation.
. You demonstrate excellent communication skills.
. You show outstanding attention to detail and follow through.
. You have a working knowledge of basic PC systems and familiarity with Office products.
. You have an understanding of the sales process, preferred.
. You possess the ability to lift 20-50 lbs.
. You can work flexible hours that may include working Trail Blazers home games plus other nights, weekends and holidays.
