Hi, I’m Brittni Beers-Branco, VP of People at Puppet,
I’m looking for a strategic and service-oriented Senior Benefits Specialist to join our team to manage and up-level the global employee benefits experience at Puppet. On a day-to-day basis, you will administer all aspects of the US benefits programs and partner with our global benefits broker and local HR team to administer global benefits while ensuring compliance of all plans. You will administer 401k programs, insured medical and dental plans, and maintain benefits systems and data files to vendors is important.
You will walk employees through their new hire benefits, coordinate open enrollment vendor files, track leave of absences, own benefit communications, and keep all global benefits resources accurate and up-to-date. You will work with our brokers to communicate informational changes for employees, approve benefit elections in our HRMS, run quarterly HSA employer processes, upload monthly files into our HRMS, and manage various projects and audits.

Detail-oriented. You have an eye for data fidelity and are well-versed with the complex set up and administration of various benefits plans within the Ulti-Pro HRIS
Valuable experiences and skills you’ll bring to Puppet
Minimum of seven years of experience-- 5+ years of benefits and HR experience with two+ years of leave of absence management
Solid experience with Benefits Administration to include medical and dental plans, health savings account, flexible spending accounts, life, AD&D, short and long term disability, and commuter benefits
Experience with full cycle Leave of Absence administration including leave tracking
Knowledge of various laws such as ERISA, FMLA, OFLA, ACA, etc.
Understanding of STD, LTD and other benefit plans
Working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to leave of absence management, including but not limited to FMLA, OFLA, ADA disability benefits and return to work
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
Proven customer service skills
Extensive knowledge of HRIS systems/benefit tracking systems (Ultipro experience preferred) including manual and automated file transfers to vendors
Technologically adept, preferred experience using Google suite products and MS Excel
Ability to handle highly confidential data with integrity and professionalism.
