You enjoy collaboration with project stakeholders and know how to work closely with company decision-makers to guide and execute design-related activity. Job Description:
This position works closely with prospective Workplace customers, clients, account managers, and other Fully stakeholders. As the Workplace Designer, you will work directly with clients to help them realize their vision for an elevated workplace experience by applying strategies to improve health and wellness, equity and inclusivity, productivity and a sense of community. The position works alongside Workplace’s account management team to connect with prospective clients in the early stages of the furniture selection process. You will support potential clients by providing site and space verification, space planning and rendered three-dimensional plans. Through creative problem solving and active listening, you'll help clients realize their vision for an extraordinary workplace that is functional, beautiful and inspiring.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Main point of contact for commercial customer inquiries requiring design support
--Develop a clear understanding of client needs working with Account Management and the client/ prospect.
--Provide the appropriate level of design consultation given the inquiry, project need and/ or required specification.
--Contract with outside design resources as necessary and manage the outsourced projects’ progress.
--Assist Project Coordination with the identification of services required to move a project successfully to completion (installation, inside delivery, etc.).
--Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients and partners.

Manage the design process
--Collect use case and design criteria.
--Work with clients to provide space planning solutions using Autodesk Revit, Sketchup, AutoCAD or other related technologies.
--Apply codes, client guidelines, and furniture supplier requirements in balance to achieve client's design intent.
--Effectively present space planning ideas and solutions with the aim to satisfy the project’s intent, developing an idea from dream to reality.

Project Management
--Manage workflow, schedule, and task priority for larger team projects.
--Handle multiple projects simultaneously, each with differing scope and products.
--Communicate changes and provide solutions as needed.

Product Knowledge
--Maintain knowledge of the Fully product line.
--Share customer experiences and identify opportunities for new products and services.
--Become familiar with other commercial furniture options.

Support Marketing’s internal and external space planning needs
--Collaborate with Marketing stakeholders on projects requiring product programming and design services.
--Maintain and strengthen relationships with internal clients and partners.

Skills and Qualifications:
--Up to date with current workspace design trends
--Knowledge of building codes and ADA compliant design
--Understanding of contract furniture industry
--Proficient in Revit, Photoshop, InDesign and Sketchup
--Fluency in 3D modeling, rendering, and schematics
--Ability to autonomously manage a personal schedule and lead freelance designers
--Experience with Enscape or similar rendering program a plus
--Copywriting, copy editing and/or strategy experience
--Experience with Asana
--WELL and/ or LEED accredited

--Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from an accredited school
--Minimum 7 years Design experience with a background in Workplace Design
--Significant Experience working in an integrated architecture/interiors team focused on commercial projects

Department: Commercial Sales

Reports to: Director of Sales

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week.

Salaried full time. We evaluate our compensation offerings according to market medians and internal pay equity.
